Fellow Friday Hoofers, if you would like to lead one of your favorite hikes for the 1st (winter) quarter in 2026, you can do so by:

Sending a description of your hike with distance and elevation gain (if known),criteria for Hoofer hikes is posted on the website.

Providing your contact information, email and / or phone number. This will be posted to the weekly update so hikers can contact you, if interested in attending your hike.

Selecting a Friday Hoofer date for your hike. The 1st quarter 2026 dates are Jan. 2, 9, 16, 23, 30; Feb. 6, 13, 20, 27; March 6, 13, 20, 27.

I will put your hike information together and incorporate it into the 1st quarter 2026 schedule, which will be posted in late December.
