Fridays hike is an out and back along the Appalachian Trail from Davenport Gap to Mt Cammerer with its excellent views. Because of the drive time, we will be stating earlier than normal from two different meeting areas. Hikers meeting at the Mills River Ingles, plan on being there by 8:00 AM. The Pisgah Forest Walmart hikers will depart at 7:45 AM to meet up with the hikers at the Mills River Ingles. Please RSVP victor.zona@sbcglobal.net and indicate your meeting location (PF Walmart or MR Ingles). It will be a long day so bring plenty of food/snacks and water.

Providing your contact information. Email address is required. Your phone number is optional. This information will be posted to the weekly update allowing hikers to contact you, if interested in attending your hike.

Selecting a Friday Hoofer date for your hike. The 3rd quarter 2026 dates are July 3, 10, 17, 24, 31; August 7, 14, 21, 28; September 4, 11, 18, 25.
