Debbie will be leading this Hemphill Bald loop hike. This is a hike in the Smokies with several scenic view points and does have one wet crossing. The trails are overgrown in places so long pants are recommended. The option exists to hike to Hemphill Bald and back for a 10 miler, if you don’t want to hike the entire loop.

The meeting places are Walmart at 7:45 AM and Mills River Ingles 8:00 AM. Debbie can take two hikers and will be leaving from the Home Depot off of exit 40 on I-40 at 8:30 AM.
