We will have cooler temps for this weeks hike. Starting at the Big Sam parking lot we will hike the Art Loeb trail over Black Balsam and Tennent mountains to Shining Rock. After lunch we reverse our steps back to our cars. Meet at the Ranger Station at 8:15 for an 8:30 start. RSVP victor.zona@sbcglobal.net if you plan on hiking.

Weather: Sunny with temps around 52° at the start and climbing to the low 70°s by afternoon. Temperatures will be 5 or so degrees cooler in the higher elevations, so plan accordingly. Very low chance of rain with winds 5-10 mph.
