8/26  Daniel Ridge 
3 mi, 300’cl, R3, $3.00
From the Cove Creek trailhead we hike the Cove Creek trail to the new Lanning Ridge trail to the Daniel Ridge trail stopping  at Tom’s Spring/Daniel Ridge Falls.  We continue on to the Daniel Ridge trailhead.  Then we walk Davidson River Road back to our cars enjoying views of the Davidson River along the way.  We hike the 50 yard trail to Whaleback Falls for lunch.
